God's Plan of Salvation for You

1st

Did you know that God loves you?

Did you know that He does not want you to perish?

Did you know that He wants you to have eternal life?

Did you know that He created you to know Him personally?

IT'S TRUE!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3.16

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
John 17:3

2nd

Did you know that even though you were created to have fellowship with God, the fact that you have gone your own way in sin keeps you separated from God?

IT'S TRUE!

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Romans 3:23

3rd

Did you know that the wages of your sins is death,
which is everlasting destruction and spiritual separation from God?

IT'S TRUE!

For the wages of sin is death,
but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

. . . and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ
2 Thessalonians 1:8b,9

4th

Did you know that you don't have to remain in this lost state
and that God does not want you to perish in your sins?

IT'S TRUE!

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
1 Timothy 2:3,5

5th

Did you know that there is nothing you can do in the way of works
or self-effort that will save you?

IT'S TRUE!

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.
Ephesians 2:8,9

6th

Did you know that there is only one way for your sins to be paid for, so that you may be granted eternal life and enter into a personal relationship with Him?

Did you know that God sent His Son Jesus Christ, who was born of a virgin and after living a life without sin was delivered up to a Roman cross to be crucified?

Did you know that upon that cross He took upon Himself your sins, became your sins and then paid the price of physical and spiritual death required by God for your sins so that you may be saved?

IT'S TRUE!

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8

For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all . . . .
1 Timothy 2:5,6

For He [God] made Him [Christ] who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.
2 Corinthians 5:21

7th

Did you know that Jesus did not remain dead?

Did you know that on the third day He rose from the grave victorious over sin,
evil and death and ascended into Heaven?

IT'S TRUE!

But the angel answered and said to the women,
"Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.
He is not here; for He is risen, as He said." . . .

Matthew 28:5,6

So then, after the Lord had spoken to them,
He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.

Mark 16:19

8th

Did you know that the only action needed by you for your instant salvation (to be granted the free-gift of eternal life) is for you to decide (make a decision of faith) to place your trust (confidence) only in Christ and His sacrifice on the cross of Calvary (and in no other means, such as self-effort, religion, etc.) as full-payment for your personal salvation. It's a decision you must make (not a prayer, not a request for forgiveness, not a promise to turn from sin, not a dedication of your life, not a multi-step process of any kind); simply a genuine decision to take God at His Word regarding the sacrifice of His Son on Calvary, of which God immediately detects and acts upon to make you a new creation in Christ.

IT'S TRUE!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

. . . Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
So they said, "Believe of the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved . . . ."

Acts 16:30b,31a

9th

Right where you are and right now you can have the peace of mind of knowing that you have eternal life and a personal relationship with God. Just make the conscience decision to believe God's Word pertaining to His Son, to accept (trust only in Christ for) His free-gift of eternal salvation purchased by Christ Jesus on the Cross of Calvary.

WILL YOU DO THIS NOW?

If you do this, then God assures you that you will be instantly transformed from death to life, that Christ Jesus will henceforth and forever more live within you by means of the Holy Spirit and that one day you will be with Him for all eternity. Your salvation and eventual life with Christ in Heaven is guaranteed, never to be taken away.

Once this is done, you can be assured that the peace and power of God will then start influencing your entire life. You will start thinking thoughts and wanting to do things you never thought possible. Those around you will notice a definite change in you.

More than this, Satan and his demons will start trying to derail your fellowship with God. Even though you can never be 'unsaved,' your fellowship as a child of God with your Father can be interrupted and weakened. Satan will do everything possible to create within you doubts, to persuade you to follow old sinful paths and practices and influence you in these ways through friends and family.

When you experience some of these difficult times, it is important that you know that your Christian life does not depend on your feelings. It depends on the promise of God's Word. Even when you feel that you cannot be trusted, God is always true and His Word can always be trusted. During these times remember that the moment you received Christ by faith as your personal Savior the following things happened to you:

    • 1. Christ came into your life
      (Revelation 3:20 and Colossians 1:27)

    • 2. Your sins were forgiven
      (Colossians 1:14)

    • 3. You became a child of God
      (John 1:12)

    • 4. You received eternal life
      (John 5:24)

    • 5. You began an abundant life linked with God
      (John 10:10 and 2 Corinthians 5:17)

The following are directions from the Word of God
that will help you grow strong in your Christian life:

    • 1. Go to God in prayer daily
      (John 15:7)

    • 2. Read God's Word daily
      (Acts 17:11)

    • 3. By word and deed tell others about Christ
      (Matthew 4:19 and John 15:8)

    • 4. Trust in God to provide the Holy Spirit to empower your daily life and witness for Christ
      (Galatians 5:16,17 and Acts 1:8)

    • 5. Associate with other Christians who wish to serve Christ in their daily lives.
Find and attend a Christ-centered church.
